CeDiploma FAQs
How can I access to my CeDiploma?
Graduates will receive an email invitation with a link to download the CeDiploma approximately two months after their graduation date. The link will expire after 14 days. After the 14 day period, graduates can request a new invitation (Resend Invitation Link (cecredentialtrust.com) should the link expire. The link can only be sent to a valid UGA email address. Graduates should email the Office of the Registrar for assistance if access to their UGA email account has been removed.
Can I get a CeDiploma if I have a financial hold with UGA?
The CeDiploma will not be issued for students who have an outstanding balance or unfulfilled obligation to the University. Please refer to the Student Profile section in Athena for current holds. Once a hold has been lifted, students should email the Office of the Registrar to release the CeDiploma.
Can I request that my CeDiploma be sent to a non-UGA email address?
Recent graduates retain access to their UGA email account for about a year following their graduation date and can request a new invitation (Resend Invitation Link (cecredentialtrust.com) if they need their CeDiploma resent.
Can I request a CeDiploma if I graduated prior to fall 2023?
The CeDiploma is currently only available for those students who have graduated fall semester 2023 or later.
How do I validate a Certificated Electronic Diploma (CeDiploma)?
When a graduate sends a CeDiploma to a third-party, the third party can validate the credential on the UGA website.
Can I request a digital copy of my certificate?
Only digital copies of degrees in the form of a CeDiploma are available to students.
