Graduate Program Requirements Submission

As part of an institution-wide curriculum revision project, the Office of the Registrar is excited to include graduate program requirements in DegreeWorks.

The Office of the Registrar is working with the Graduate School to collect all graduate program requirements for initial entry into the system.

Instructions for Program Requirements Submission:

1. Open the following documents:
   
   • Instructions for Submitting Requirements
   • Graduate Programs List  – this list includes all majors/degrees and certificate programs sorted by school/college and department.
   • Program Requirements Form Template:
     
     • Graduate Program Requirements (Masters/Education Specialist/Doctoral)
     • Graduate Certificate Requirements
   • Sample “completed” program template form for each program type:
     • MS Degree Requirements
     • MPH Degree Requirements
     • EDS  Degree Requirements
     • PHD Degree Requirements
2. Complete the Graduate Program Requirements Form template with all information for each program in your department/school/college listed in the Excel document
   • Please note the required fields marked in red within the form
   • The required fields are highest priority.If  the information for the remaining fields cannot be provided in a timely manner, there will be another opportunity to submit this information prior to entry into DegreeWorks.
     
     
3. Once a Program Requirements Form template for a program is complete:
   • Save the form with the full program name copied from the Excel File
     Example file name: Natural Resources MNR - Community Forestry and Arboriculture
     
     
4. Email the completed template to bulletin@uga.edu
   
   
5. Deadline to email all templates for the programs in department/school/college to bulletin@uga.edu: Tuesday, January 16, 2024
