Deactivation, Reactivation, or Termination of Academic Programs
This policy should be followed to temporarily suspend (deactivate) or permanently close (terminate) a major, minor, certificate, or area of emphasis. It should also be followed to reactivate a major, minor, certificate, or area of emphasis that was previously deactivated. Academic programs that were previously terminated cannot be reactivated.

Dual Degree Programs
This policy should be followed for the creation of a new dual degree. Dual degrees are a combination of two separately approved majors, including undergraduate/undergraduate, undergraduate/graduate, undergraduate/professional, graduate/graduate, and graduate/professional. Upon completion of a dual degree program, students will be conferred with two separate degrees.
This policy should not be used to create or modify a Double Dawgs Pathway.
