Both current and former students can order official transcripts via our new online ordering system. Our new method allows for payment via credit or debit card which must be made prior to processing any transcript request.
Please allow 6-13 business days for delivery.
- Log in to the portal http://my.uga.edu
- Click on Order Transcripts (under Instant Access).
- Complete and submit the online request along with credit or debit card information for payment.
- Your transcript will be mailed within five business days.
- Log in to online ordering site
- Click on log in or create a new account.
- If you are a new user to our online ordering system, you will be asked to create an account. Once your account is created, you will be able to request transcripts online and track the status of your orders.
- If you are a returning user, please login to your online account.
- In the event that you may have forgotten your password, you will be prompted to enter your email address to receive a message containing a new password.
- Your request will be processed within five business days.
You may visit our office in the Holmes/Hunter Academic Building and request a transcript in person. You will need to complete the request online at one of our transcript request kiosks and pay in full using a debit or credit card. Requests will be processed within 5 business days. Once the request has been processed, please see one of our Customer Service Representatives with a photo ID to pick up your transcript.

Please make the money order payable to UGA. Our office no longer accepts cash or check as a payment. Money orders cannot be more than 6 months old or they will be returned to sender and the request will not be processed. We must receive payment prior to processing any transcript request.
For mailed-in requests, please fill out the transcript request form. Print the form, be sure to sign it and mail the form with the $8.00 transcript fee. This form requires Adobe Reader.
Our office cannot accept mailed transcript requests that include attachments (i.e., AMCAS, LSAC forms). Any requests that include attachments must be submitted online.
The Office of the Registrar no longer accepts faxed requests for transcripts. Outbound faxed transcripts are not considered official. For an official copy, please request a PDF copy via the on-line storefront.
Transcripts will not be issued for students who have an outstanding balance or unfulfilled obligation to the university.
The Office of the Registrar offers the option to have a transcript expedited through FedEx. An expedited request may be made online (see above). The standard $8.00 fee per copy still applies for the request and must be paid prior to processing any transcript request.
- $40.00 will be charged for FedEx deliveries to a U.S. address.
- $80.00 will be charged for FedEx deliveries to an international address.
Requests that Require Enclosures
If you have a form that must be included with your transcript, you will be able to upload the form electronically online. Upon receipt of your request, the document will be printed and attached to the hard-copy transcript prior to mailing. Please ensure the recipient of any attachments will accept a copied version of any attached document.
If an original, non-copy, enclosure is required, please see the instructions listed above for mailing a transcript request. Include your original enclosure document with the transcript request form in the same envelope.
Status of Transcript Request
Once your transcript request has been processed, you will receive an automated email confirming your order along with a link to track the order status. All requests are processed within five business days. Please allow 6 - 13 business days for receipt of the transcript.
The Office of the Registrar is not responsible for incorrect mailing or e-mail addresses provided to us in the original transcript request. If an incorrect address is provided to us and your transcript has been processed, an additional order will need to be submitted. We cannot be responsible for failure of the USPS or any other third party courier to deliver your transcript to its destination.
All transcripts are $8.00 per copy. Payment will be required prior to processing your transcript request. Most major credit or debit cards are accepted online.
Transcripts from Other Institutions
The Office of the Registrar does not provide you with copies of transcripts from other institutions. You will need to contact all institutions you have attended if you need those transcripts.
