Drop or Withdrawal for Non-Attendance

 

To drop or withdraw a student from a course due to nonattendance, the instructor of the course provides the following information to the departmental sectioning officer responsible for managing the course data for the class section:

Drop (This option is available only during the drop/add period for each term)

  • Course Call Number
  • Student's Name OR Student's 810 Number

Withdrawal (This option is available only after the drop/add period but before the official withdrawal deadline for each term)

  • Course Call Number
  • Student's Name OR Student's 810 Number
  • Student's date of last attendance (or you may report "never")
  • Grade to be assigned (WP, WF, or WU)

 

The sectioning officer will utilize the Drop/Move screen in the Course Offerings System to process the drop or withdrawal.
